MEDICT Project
Mobilization for Education and Development through Information and Communication Technology (MEDICT) project is being implemented by READ Nepal in partnership with Norwegian Association for Adult Learning (NAAL) in Bachhuali VDC, Chitwan, through Jhuwani Community Library (JCL) as local implementating partner. The project has been funded by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). Three new libraries are being established as satellite centers of Jhuwani Community Library and Resource Center by the project with following objectives:

1. Increase in Literacy Rate
2. Increase in Livelihood Opportunities through women cooperatives
3. Increase access to relevant information through the use of ICT
4. Institutional building of library and women cooperatives
